Meta Biner LC is a light cure, fluoride-releasing, radiopaque cavity liner and base material specially formulated for use with adhesives and composites and with conventional restorative materials. Biner LC contains Hydroxy calcium phosphate in a urethane dimethacrylate resin. It chemically bonds to adhesive primers, composites and other resin-based material, and it micromechanically bonds to dentin.
INDICATIONS
Protect pulp of the tooth
Lining under all filling materials
Protection when applying the total etch technique
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Biner LC should not be used if patients are known to be allergic to methacrylate resins
INSTRUCTIONS
Isolate prepared teeth and air dry gently
Place a disposable tip securely onto Biner LC syringe
Apply Biner LC to the dentin in increments. Remove Biner LC from enamel margin and light cure for 40 seconds, depending on the light curing unit.
Apply bonding system to enamel. Light cure, Continue with layer of composite until cavity is filled.

Prepare the tooth: Ensure the tooth surface is clean, dry, and free from debris or contaminants.
Apply adhesive primer: Apply a suitable adhesive primer to the prepared tooth surface according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow it to react for the recommended time.
Dispense Meta Biner LC: Dispense an appropriate amount of Meta Biner LC using a syringe or other dispensing method onto a mixing pad or dish.
Mix thoroughly: Using a suitable spatula, mix the Meta Biner LC paste thoroughly for the recommended time to ensure proper homogeneity.
Apply to cavity or base: Using a suitable instrument, apply the mixed Meta Biner LC directly into the prepared cavity or as a base material. Ensure complete coverage and adaptation to the tooth structure.
Light cure: Expose the applied Meta Biner LC to a suitable light curing unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure proper light intensity, exposure time, and distance to achieve adequate polymerization. Pay attention to any specific curing recommendations for the product.
Check for complete curing: Verify that the Meta Biner LC has fully cured by inspecting its hardness and stability. Use a suitable instrument to gently test the surface for any soft or uncured areas.
Proceed with restorative material: Once the Meta Biner LC has adequately cured, continue with the placement of adhesives, composites, or other resin-based restorative materials as desired.
Meta Biner LC offers several advantages, including:
Light curing: It can be cured using a light curing unit, allowing for efficient and controlled polymerization.
Fluoride release: It releases fluoride, which helps in remineralization and offers additional protection against decay.
Radiopacity: Meta Biner LC is radiopaque, making it easily detectable on X-rays for accurate diagnosis.
Versatility: It is formulated to work well with adhesives, composites, and conventional restorative materials.
Meta Biner LC is a cavity liner and base material used in dentistry. It is light-cured, fluoride-releasing, and radiopaque, specifically formulated for use with adhesives, composites, and conventional restorative materials.
Meta Biner LC contains hydroxy calcium phosphate in a urethane dimethacrylate resin. This composition allows it to chemically bond to adhesive primers, composites, and other resin-based materials, while also achieving micromechanical bonding to dentin.
To use Meta Biner LC, follow these general steps:
Prepare the tooth surface.
Meta Biner LC chemically bonds to adhesive primers, composites, and other resin-based materials through its unique formulation. Additionally, it micromechanically bonds to dentin, ensuring strong and reliable adhesion.
