“Preparation: Ensure proper isolation with a rubber dam and clean the root canal system using intra-canal instruments and irrigation with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). Dry the root canal with paper points and isolate the perforation.
Mixing: Use a mixing pad that is impervious to water or a glass block of suitable dimension. Shake the bottle of powder to loosen it. Dispense the powder onto the mixing pad using the provided scoop. Then, dispense the liquid by turning the bottle vertically and squeezing gently to release one drop at a time.
Mixing Ratios:
For general use: Mix powder and liquid at a ratio of 2.6:1.0, achieved with 1 level scoop of powder and 2 drops of liquid.
For orthograde root end filling: Mix at a ratio of 2:1 (by weight), using 3-level scoops of powder and 8 drops of liquid.
Application: Fill the apical canal space up to the perforation completely with a suitable root canal filling material. Apply Ammdent Root Plus MTA as per the specific procedure:
For root perforation repair, ensure the area is isolated and apply the cement to the site.
For pulp capping, apply the cement directly to the exposed pulp.
For root end filling (orthograde), use a suitable application device to place the material into the root canal.
Setting: After contact with the liquid, the mixture will form a gel that hardens to create an impermeable barrier, providing a secure seal.
Post-Application: Once applied, follow up with appropriate post-operative care and restoration procedures as necessary.”
