Base Component :
N-ethyl-o(or p)-toluenesulphonamide : 30-60%
Calcium oxide : 30-60%
Zinc oxide : 1-5%
Zinc distearate : 1-5%
Catalyst Component :
Methyl salicylate : 10-30%
2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diol : 1-5%
Isobutyl salicylate : 1-5%
1 x 12g tube base
1 x 18g tube catalyst
1 x Mixing pad
Preparation: Ensure the root canal is clean and shaped appropriately. Use irrigation to remove debris and disinfect the canal.
Mixing: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to mix the components of Sealapex to achieve a homogenous consistency.
Application: Use a suitable applicator or a lentulo spiral to introduce the sealer into the root canal. Ensure thorough coverage of the canal walls.
Filling: After applying the sealer, proceed to fill the canal with gutta-percha or another filling material as per your protocol.
Check for Adequate Sealing: Ensure the sealer is evenly distributed and does not exceed the canal orifices.
Setting: Allow the sealer to set according to the manufacturer’s specified time before proceeding with further restoration.
